Dr. Reema Ajluni, D.D.S.

Dr. Ajluni was born and raised in the metro Detroit area. She graduated from Marian High School of Bloomfield Hills. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology at Wayne State University. She then went to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry to obtain her doctorate of dental surgery. Dr. Ajluni has a true passion for dentistry. She has received numerous certificates by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in injectables including Botox and Juvéderm fillers. She loves helping patients look and feel their best. Dr. Ajluni is highly skilled in the fields of endodontics, implantology, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Her primary focus is patient care. She is devoted to nurturing relationships with her patients and creating the most comfortable environment for them. She caters to each patient’s concerns, focuses on the education of disease prevention, assures that each patient is cared for, and truly makes her patient family feel like family. Her absolute favorite part about being a dentist is being able to connect with patient's family stories and watching them grow through the years.
Dr. Reema met her husband, Remy, in dental school. They have a wonderful son, Enzo, and a lovable mini bernedoodle, Max. She is very active in her free time. Her most special time is spent with her family. Together they love to travel, garden and cook.
Dr. Zainab Afzal, D.M.D.

Dr. Afzal originally hails from upstate New York, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. She attended University of Hartford where she received her Bachelor’s in science degree. Dr. Afzal then went on to complete her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University in Illinois. Following dental school, Dr. Afzal completed her general practice residency at the Philadelphia Veterans Medical Center, and then chose to stay in the area for the next 3 years working in 2 separate private practices. In September of 2022 Dr. Afzal moved to Michigan. She maintains active membership of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Afzal has completed training in Botox and Fillers through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is also highly trained in implant restoration & placement, restorative & cosmetic dentistry, and endodontics. Dr. Afzal practices total wellness Dentistry, where she does not just take care of teeth, but also the patients overall health. She is passionate about restoring the dentition for not only form, but also function.
Outside of Mission Point Dental, Dr. Afzal will be serving as the Program Director of the General Practice Residency at St. Joe’s Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. As program director, she will be training new dental graduates in complete care dentistry. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Afzal is kept busy by traveling with her husband, looking for the best desserts (even dentists can have a sweet tooth), or exploring the great outdoors!
Dr. Greg Young, D.D.S.

Dr. Young earned his DDS degree from the University of Detroit, in 1979. He started his implant training in 1982 with a six month preceptorship with Dr. Paul Mentag, placing blades and subperiosteal implants. In 1985 he started his root form implant training at the world renowned Misch Implant Institute. Since then he has taken hundreds of hours of education with some of the best implant clinicians in the world.
Dr. Young has gone on to distinguish himself as a leading expert in implant dental care. He is a member and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He was also selected to be a mentor to other doctors seeking fellowship certification. Additionally, Dr. Young is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology & Implant Dentistry. This is a very sought after certification that currently only 300 active dentists world-wide have. It involves extensive post-doctoral training and years of experience, as well as, a comprehensive written exam and a series of oral exams conducted by an expert panel of implant dentists.
Dr. Young has lectured to hundreds of dentists and been the keynote speaker for various dental organizations. His topics range from staff motivation to many implant related topics. He currently, limits his practice to implant surgery and works for several offices both in Michigan and Florida. Dr. Young and his wife, Sandy, have been married for over 40 years and have two beautiful daughters, two son in laws, and an adorable granddaughter, and a handsome grandson. In his spare time Dr. Young enjoys golfing, skiing and weight lifting.
