Hi, I’m Dr. Reema Ajluni, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I was born and raised in the metro Detroit area, and I’ve always felt a strong connection to this community. I graduated from Marian High School in Bloomfield Hills, earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wayne State University, and then completed my dental training at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. It’s been an incredible journey, and I feel truly fortunate to do what I love every single day.
Dentistry isn’t just a profession for me—it’s a passion. I believe in caring for people, not just teeth. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable—like you’re part of the family. Every patient who walks through our doors is treated with kindness, honesty, and individualized care. I take the time to understand your concerns, educate you on your oral health, and work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals.
To give you the best possible care, I’ve invested in advanced training and cutting-edge technology. I’ve completed extensive implant training at the Engel Institute, and I’ve furthered my education with Invisalign so I can offer more personalized orthodontic solutions. I also hold certifications from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in Botox and Juvéderm fillers, which allow me to help patients feel confident inside and out.
Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology because I believe you deserve the very best. From digital imaging to advanced diagnostic tools, everything we use is designed to make your experience more comfortable, efficient, and precise.
Beyond the dental chair, my favorite part of being a dentist is getting to know your stories and watching your families grow. That connection means everything to me.
On a personal note, I met my husband, Remy, in dental school. We have two amazing children—our son Enzo and our daughter Zoe—and a very sweet mini Bernedoodle named Max. We love spending time together as a family, especially when we’re traveling, gardening, or cooking at home.

Hello, I’m Dr. Zainab Afzal!
I grew up in upstate New York and practically lived in my father’s small dental office. I loved watching him greet patients by name, laugh with them, and help them feel more comfortable and confident. That early experience is what sparked my passion for dentistry and inspired me to follow a similar path. I went on to complete my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University in Illinois and later completed a general practice residency at the Philadelphia Veterans Medical Center, where I had the privilege of caring for our nation’s veterans.
I spent several years working in private practice in the Philadelphia area before moving to Michigan in 2022, and I feel incredibly grateful to now call this community home.
I believe great dentistry starts with genuine care. I focus on creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where you feel understood and involved in your treatment. By taking the time to listen and tailor care to your goals, we can build lasting trust and a healthy, confident smile.
I stay committed to providing high-quality care through continued education and advanced training. I’ve completed specialized training in Botox and fillers through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, along with advanced Invisalign training to offer more personalized orthodontic options. I also serve on the advisory board of local dental study clubs, which helps me stay current with the latest advancements and continually learn from my colleagues. These experiences support my comprehensive approach to dentistry, focused on healthy function, confidence, and whole-body wellness.
Outside the office, you’ll often find me exploring new hobbies—currently, I’m learning to sew! I also love tending to my many (many!) houseplants, traveling whenever I get the chance, and always trying to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Dr. Young earned his DDS degree from the University of Detroit, in 1979. He started his implant training in 1982 with a six month preceptorship with Dr. Paul Mentag, placing blades and subperiosteal implants. In 1985 he started his root form implant training at the world renowned Misch Implant Institute. Since then he has taken hundreds of hours of education with some of the best implant clinicians in the world.
Dr. Young has gone on to distinguish himself as a leading expert in implant dental care. He is a member and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He was also selected to be a mentor to other doctors seeking fellowship certification. Additionally, Dr. Young is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology & Implant Dentistry. This is a very sought after certification that currently only 300 active dentists world-wide have. It involves extensive post-doctoral training and years of experience, as well as, a comprehensive written exam and a series of oral exams conducted by an expert panel of implant dentists.
Dr. Young has lectured to hundreds of dentists and been the keynote speaker for various dental organizations. His topics range from staff motivation to many implant related topics. He currently, limits his practice to implant surgery and works for several offices both in Michigan and Florida. Dr. Young and his wife, Sandy, have been married for over 40 years and have two beautiful daughters, two son in laws, and an adorable granddaughter, and a handsome grandson. In his spare time Dr. Young enjoys golfing, skiing and weight lifting.

Whenever I go to my dentist office, I have a pleasant experience. The hygienist and dentist along with her assistant always ensure that you are comfortable. If there is pain, they will explain prior to and explain why which makes it bearable. The entire team is courteous and sensitive to your needs.

After looking for a new dentist, I was recommended to Mission Point and after my recent appointment this will definitely be my new dental office. The entire staff was friendly and handled everything with care. My actual doctor was very thorough and informative. She notified me of a few things that previously dentist didn’t go over.
